All,
another half dozen so far unidentified badges. Grateful for any help:

1. A beautifully embroidered Pascal lamb (or mutton lancer), 53mm dia.
2.Same sort, but a Castle Keep or Guard Force tower
3."5 RALC"
4. Olympic type rings and crossed swords on black
5. Same, but on khaki
6. Tartan what? Badge backing? arm badge? Whose and which way round? 3" by 3.25"

If not military, or British, will be available for sale.

number 3 is: 5e Régiment d’artillerie légère du Canada

Thanks Marc. Would never have got that, never even considered a Canadian title written in French. Googled lots of possiblities, just all in english.

All,
having almost googled myself to death trying to locate ID's for these, I'm coming to the conclusion that 1 and 2 MAY be not CCF School Arm badges as I had hoped, but MAY be some sort of Cubs or Scouts Patrol badges? I note the Girl Guides wear very similar badges, but almost all have pretty flowers like bluebells or tulips or alternatively little birds like Robin or Kingfisher. I won't get rid of them yet, unless anybody can definitively confirm ID.
4 and 5 are probably foreign, possibly a military sports badge?
A long Google session checking sports badges finally turned up Belgian Military Sports Brevet - hurray.

The tartan is Royal Stewart or some variation of it. Royal Stewart is or was worn by pipers of various regiments, including RSDG, Scots Guards, Royal Scots, KOSB and Black Watch.

Rgds, Thomas
