A couple of Unknows for ID Please
 

I recently got these badges and was wondering if anyone could help with ID.

The SR title is same size as RMP, ACC, AA versions. It is brass and shows no signs of blackening as I first thought Scottish Rifles.

The Lion is brass and around 1 1/2 Cm tall.

I don't collect German WW2 items usually but this was in with a job lot I got. Its a May Day badge but it is made of bakelite or plastic, any thoughts? I think it's a copy of a tinnie badge.

Hi Bill Lion could possibly be Belgium or even Czech? (Spelling could be off!!), but you get my drift, the Tinnie looks fine but Mint? is this why you think it's wrong? They had loads but nice item has history!

the reason I thought it wasn't right was because it's plastic / bakelite. I have never seen another one of these so wasn't sure if it was OK or not.

Thanks for the reply. I thought all Scottish Rifles titles were blackened brass as the Cameronians was my first thought. I looked it up in Ray Westlake's book and it stated this pattern would have been blackened.

Hi Bill Tinnies where as you have in "bakerlite" (plastic) think the little figures are Ceramic not held one only seen the pictures so possibly these are as well someone will have some or held some and can elaborate, all the best billy
