Worn by all ranks on no. 2 dress, or future army dress these days.

Pete

Pete, going by your albums, it appears to me that the pattern of collar badge as shown in the opening post was introduced on the formation of the Queen's Regiment in 1966. It then continued in use with the Princess of Wales's Royal Regiment after their formation in 1992 and is still worn by them today. Have I got that right or am I missing something?. Please allow for my age!!.:)

Thanks to all. I should have looked in my collar badge book by Churchill.

Hi Hoot,

Yes, that is right. That was before my time, but I understand these were worn by officers of the 3rd Battallion of The Queen's Regiment.

Kind Regards,

Pete.
