Sadly, medal index cards for WW2 Indian Military Forces are not in the public domain in the U.K. They may still be held in New Delhi or the Indian Office but are not readily available to the general public.

If the solder was a casualty they can be found on the C.W.G.C. website. Other than that, they are notoriously difficult to research.

I think the rank should read PNR or SPR. - Pioneer or Sapper..instead of PHR...have a good look again..
The unit is the Indian Pioneer Corps, and as Simon says you will not find anything on him unless he's on the CWGC casualty list..
