Hello ,
I'm just starting to collect army badges and I have two badges I'm not sure off

I started because I found the wife's G/G/fathers medals from ww1 . He was in the RGA for 4 years then joined the 2nd (VB) Royal Scots Fusiliers for 12? years . He enlisted in 1915 and went to Gallipoli and was evacuated through illness. Went to a labour battalion and was in the Home Guard in WW2 (RSF)
I decided to frame his medals and got a few badges that included RSF and RGA and a couple other badges. Its the others I dont recognise.
His son was in the Royal Horse Artillery (T F) and he went to Egypt/Palestine for the whole of WW1. He was in WW2 home guard (RSF).

I've been gathering others since then probably a lot of non genuine badges but the original two that I dont know still rankle me . I've searched this forum and on the main "old " home page is one of the badges I dont know.

The other badge is a 1/2 laurel wreath, thistles and Kings crown and lion sitting on top holding a sword and a Baton (L/H)

First badge is The Queens Own Royal Glasgow Yeomanry.

Second could be one of the "highlander" regiments.

The second badge is the thistle part of the Queens Own Highlanders/ Highlanders badge. Dependant on size either the sporran badge or hat badge.
