Hi, picked this up for Xmas. Two questions, one, where was the Ormond Engineering Co? secondly is this contemporary or a modern copy? Thanks in advance Mike

I think you'll find that the Ormond name was just embossed on the aluminium plate and had nothing to do with the making of the badge. I suspect it is a period home made badge and, in that respect, genuine.
