The pub was at 25 King St, Richardson & co at 26 King St, I'm sure I found this before as a Tailors but can't find it now!!!

No help at all as it was SW1 in the 1850s and remains so to this day.

As previously suggested by Alan and now by other independent sources I am satisfied that this is a spurious mark added to a genuine badge.
