Did the Union Defence Force have any sort of flag from the 1939-1945 period?

Hello everyone,

I was recently wondering if the Union Defence Force had any sort of flag/ensign during the WWII period. If I'm not mistaken, they did adopt one in 1947.

Any help would be appreciated!
