sold as denbighshire (imperial yeomanry) hussars and I assume it is, and I think it is genuine with gaunt tablet and quality made.

but is it denbighshire and is it a cap badge or a collar or possibly from a slouch hat rosette?

Any input will be greatly appreciated.

Could any of, all, none of those options! Equally it could be a Cavalry or Wiltshire Yeo who wore both bi-metal and bronze badges. PofW feathers are a nightmare to attribute as so many Cavalry and Yeomanry used them,

..... its a collar by the looks..... they are stretched out "D" loops. Not the DHIY or DHY. The DHY Officers did wear the Gaunt made OSD POWFs, during WW1, but they wore small POWFs on the collar .... not large.

A lovely thing whatsoever it is, the contrast between the obverse and reverse, which retains more of it's original bronze colour, is very striking.
