Squadron Badge/Emblem

The photo shows aircrew dressed for flying outside a camouflaged pre-war hangar.

Above the doorway is a trophy swastika surmounted by a crest or badge with an owl, suggesting a night fighter squadron.

Can anyone shed further light please?
