New Dolphins Badge for Trainee Submariners

Hi

Just heard of a new badge for Trainee Royal Navy Submariners that has been introduced in the last few days. The design is similar to that worn by qualified submariners but in plain black instead of gold. Upon qualifying the badge is swapped for the normal badge with gold Dolphins. The smaller the Navy gets, the more badges they issue!

There is already a subdued black-on-OD and black-on-MTP cloth version. It may not be official issue but its certainly been/being worn...
