Have had this postcard for many years and have never been able to identify the Unit that these Men are serving with.

I's not the clearest image but hopefully someone may be able to help me please.

Many thanks in advance, Simon.

Chap in the middle looks like an Air Ministry Constabulary cap badge. White disc behind.

Remind me of Officer Cadets in the Artists Rifles?

regards

I would say they are officer cadets, the badges have crowns, middle one looks like wings.

Many thanks for your replies everyone, having looked again at the shape of the cap badge, the Artists Rifles looks a good bet. Will attempt to get a better scan and will add it when I can.

Thanks again Simon.

I'm not convinced:

The badge on the right looks like an RAF Buildings & Works badge.

You are right Phil, comparing the image to yours, it isn't the right shape.

The card was produced at the Studio of TC Leaman, The Corridor, Bath but unfortunately has no other detail. Will work on that better scan.

Simon.

Have tried to improve the scan, so here it is again.

Officer cadets -

Left to right:

Most likely to be OBLI, Border regt (not sure as it's blurred on the original) and East Yorkshire regt cap badges imo.

I'm wondering if the badge is a crowned "Maid of Erin" harp although it looks squat and wide.

I thought they were Coldstream Guardsman, but their not quite holding hands.

Very many thanks for all the suggestions.

I agree with Alan O that these are officer cadets, but I think that the cap badge is that of a college, or university.

Toby,

Thank you for that.

Regards Simon.
