Unknown PWRR 'badge/patch'
 

Gents, this woven badge is the same size as the old PWRR cloth beret badge (found both woven and embroidered) however this has been made with the Roman numeral '2' in top left hand corner and is velcro backed. I was told they were worn on kit by 2nd Bn shortly after the cloth beret badge was phased out.

Anyone know if thats correct or can add any further info?

Last line of page 3 and 1st line of page 4 of Snowdrop68's album https://www.britishbadgeforum.com/fo...id=2124&page=3 show the design and variation but not the II. I would go along with Bewley i.e. 2nd Bn but that is a guess.

Ido have a board of cloth items in my album ,operational only 2019 -shader ground ,support and supply All these have roman numerals 1 11 111 1V
I was wondering if this was something similar ie operational only
