Hello Folks
Had these a while but unsure of date of them also the one with the most backing is a very dark green as opposed to the trimmed other one.
I did think Indian for the darker green and perhaps British for the other but would love to hear your opinions

Hi Magu, I believe these are both recent type wings, bottom ones are from the last 5 years or so, the ones above in the last decade plus. Regards Mark

Agreed with Mark. Both modern british wings IMO.

There is no significant age to either, however, the current wing worn on SD is manufactured using slightly different materials, both badges are certainly more than five years old.

Thank you for the prompt replies folks, much appreciated .These are from the 'accumulation' of various cloth and metal badges i have amassed over the last 4 years which i am finally getting round to sorting through and at present its enough to make a start boxing things into chronological order!

They are just cold war period badges that were in ware for many years, unless you actually know who the original wearer was, it would be a difficult question to answer.
Although, define what is significant age, it is certainly more that five years, because, the examples made and worn for well over five now, are very different, yours could actually be five decades old.

For Frank, some Parachute Wings used in the last 5-15 years, obviously not exhaustive, the black on green are private purchase. Best Regards - Mark
