Ausie Prisons again
 

During my recent Hols down under I visited a prison in Queensland (on a bank holiday Sunday) and left a few badges with the Gate Officer. After two months nothing in the post until yesterday, then bingo :) 4 patches and a BB cap.
Interesting to note that the Queensland Service have done away with the Crown, yet NSW still retains it!
Also note the Blue and Yellow checker-ed pattern around the cap, I have note come across this on Prison - Corrective hats before.

Hi Destro, thank you for posting. The reason for the lack of crown is that Queensland State Prisons is probably run by the private sector. Nice to see your collection expanding.
