Picked these up today for little money and not too hopeful that they are genuine but would be pleased for opinions.

Thanks

P

( won’t be keeping them if if by any amazing chance they turn out to be OK.

The 5DG is a match for those found with the prototypical 15mm Gaunt fake mark.

Simon, I am at a loss as to how one should understand “Original but a modern badge”? In reference to your comment about the Natal Artillery badge above.
As we’ve seen over the years, “Original” can be taken different ways as can the word “Modern”. My reading of your note would be that the badge has been made from the dies used to make the original issue badges but made recently. So, is it a re-strike ? I respect your opinions, just not sure of your meaning on this one! Best regards, D.J.

NFA badge is original but as Peter says, modern. Been in use since 1967 and the regiment was renamed the King Cetshwayo Regiment in 2019. I don't know what badge is used now.
Cheers,
Alex
