1st Bucks Bn. cap badge, viewed from reverse, has a small flash of metal at right junction of cross and crown. This is a feature of a badge I bought on an FS cap, bought with greatcoat marked BUX 101 at a carboot in Slough- which until the 1970s boundary changes was in Buckinghamshire. No other militaria- so no reason to doubt the badge was in use with a Homeguard soldier in the 1940s. The Gaunt T4 ST is good- a high number of them have the Gaunt mark. Regards, Paul.
