Im no expert on these things, but its very similar to one that I have although the rear fixing are a little different. It has 4 screw posts and 4 openings down the middle of the back plate with 5mm wide brass fold over tabs, I hope that's an adequate description.

Just from the photograph, the reverse looks okay for a pre 1914 example, worn on the Albert in Home Service Full Dress, it is sometimes difficult with only a photo, does it feel right, does it appear to be over a hundred years old?
