Hi I wonder if anyone can help with information on these buttons. I was told they might be a civilian livery button, worn by servants of a wealthy family.

Uncertain of their history except they came from a man of Scottish decent and of the pre WW2 era – who lived and died in India - the Raj. *They are Brass. *have a wild cat-like animal which I think is of the Raj - and all are 2.2cm - made by Fast Shanks.

Any information about them or the company that made them would be greatly appreciated.

Many Thanks

These are so called 'sporting buttons'. They were used by civilians.
The back mark dates from around 1900.

Thank you. Do you know anything about the company that made them?
