Tarkastad Town Guard in the South African War.

On another forum, there's an enquiry whether the Tarkastad Town Guard wore any insignia. I'm sure someone here will know!

Hi Rob, I haven't seen one. That doesn't mean that they don't exist. The Town Guards often made their own or had a local jeweler make them. Sometimes only for officers. Regards Andrew
