Can someone provide the link to a thread we had a few years ago: it concerned brass badges that turn a coppery red colour when you polish them. I have the problem with a brass helmet plate and can't remember whether the process is reversible.

i would also be interested.
many brass badges turn a pinkish colour after heat has been applied from ne lugs.
i assume nothing can fix this once its been heat affected
