Seeking pre WWI Indian shoulder title
 

Hello all

I am a new member and trying to find a pre WWI 56th PUNJABIS shoulder title.

We operate a military museum in Maryborough, Queensland, Australia and one of our items on display is a uniform tunic to Captain (later Major) Charles Villiers-Stuart. The tunic is complete with accoutrements but is missing one of the shoulder titles.

Interestingly, on the outbreak of WWI he was selected by General William BIRDWOOD to be his senior intelligence officer at the landing of the Australian and New Zealand troops at Gallipoli on 25 April 1915. Unfortunately, he was killed in action shortly afterwards.

If any member can assist with a title or directions to obtain one, it would be very much appreciated
