I believe this is an Indian Imperial Police Badge, but am not sure. Any help identifying would be appreciated.

One of these was shown on forum a few weeks ago (this one? With inconclusive result but thought to be Indian or an Indian badge with altered central device?)

Edit: searched for the thread but couldn't find it, not sure it was the same badge, there seem to be so many similar but with different lettering.
