These are shortly inbound to my collection a matched pair of 2nd LG MG Guards titles with attribution. Fairly unusual.

You lucky man. My grandfather's regiment. Very scarce I think. I have wondered if 1LG had something similar but have not seen such. Regards, Paul.

Badges have now arrived all attributed to 3161 Trooper GT Bixley 2 LG transfered to GDs MG in May 1918.

Good to see. Do you think the badge was an officers with blades originally?
The button locket is also nice to see-and the shoulder titles as a pair are very fine. Regards, Paul.

Very nice, George Bixley was very much the volunteer who had enlisted for the duration, a warehouseman from Peckham, I wonder why he chose the Household Cavalry, I dare say the uniform had been a familiar sight and had made an impression upon him as a boy.

It does appear to be die cast and broached at some point, I would think an OSD example.
