info sought on some goggles and flight gear

interested if anyone can tell me anything about these.
what period and what plane is it for etc?

My basic knowledge is that the flight helmet looks like the Type C Wired and that the oxygen mask could be the Type E*. As to which plane(s) were and when they were used, I think they were used in most type of late 2nd WW british-used airplanes.
I suppose a member with lots more knowledge of RAF equipment will be able to give more inforrmations on this subject.

C type helmet, late-war type. used into the 50's
H type oxygen mask, introduced early 1945, generally post-war (some squadron's saw it in use before the war ended thoughm stamped 1945 are rather scarce).
goggles are post-war replica of mk VIII goggles. made by Stadium for bikers etc.

kind of "reenactor on budget" set-up, methinks.

Late pattern Receivers,I like the loom.

so to confirm, the goggles aren't military and its probably as skyeman says "reenactor on budget" using other non exciting parts.
are these worth anything?

well you can always:
- go ebay
- describe as "battle of britain, found during a house clearance, fresh to the market)
- add "i'm no expert and really don't know anything about anything" magick phrase
- ?????
- profit

jokes aside, you could get quite a pound for the helmet, looming and (depending on the date of manufacture" oxy-mask. Selling per partes will be more profitable. Even the goggles may find a buyer.

Something Strange about the “Stadium” goggles. Does anyone know if they changed their models of the “Mk.V111? Mine, bought in the middle 50s have a different “non adjusting” centre piece, also a slightly different attachment for the elastic strap. I no longer use them now as “Pudding Basin” helmets are not the in thing anymore! Besides, the Newton’s rings developed over the years make them rather dangerous to wear. Feel more protected with my approved full-faced helmet for my jaunts on my Triumph 900 Sprint. The goggles? Still keep them in the box they came in!..... Best regards, D.J.
