Are these Brigade of Guards

Hello, have these two white roses with screw post fixings and was wondering if they are Guards full dress insignia?
Any help appreciated
Matti

49th Div formation signs (pre the polar bear sign).

Oh! Gosh! Didn’t expect that! Thank you

They seem rather small for the 49th Div. signs and have screw backs. Were they made like this?

Possibly a bit small, hard to tell, the 49 Div badges do have screw post fittings.

Helmet chinscale bosses?

I have actually seen these "in the flesh" at the Antiques Centre and can confirm that they are definitely NOT 49 Div roses (the 49 Div ones have , without exception, a brass nut at the base of the screw which is Gaunt maker marked.)

The 49 Div roses are also a lot flatter than those shown.

That said, I've no idea what they are

I'd forgotten about the 49 Div fittings - rather than a nut, a small brass sheet disc with two raised "spikes" to provide purchase and stop the rose from rotating out of true when fabric's sandwiched between the rose and "spinner".

Exactly that, just didn't know how to describe it !

Some police forces wore a rose on top of the old style hard hat. West Midlands certainly did.
Could these be from a.police helmet ?

They look a bit small and flat for police helmet roses - I do need a chromed police helmet top rose, screw fitting rather than lugged I think, to put on the remnants of an old Noddy helmet.
