I found this is a large bag of cap badges I acquired......I have no idea what it is or if it is British or Foreign. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Apologies, the photo is upside down!

Interesting, its Dutch, similar to the engineers badge with just the helmet, but I hav'nt seen that design before.
Edit a googling shows it as "Engineers- Pioneers A crossed spade and pickaxe hold a sapper's helmet in the badge centre. Service colour was dark brown. Badge was instituted by Army order Nr. 57 from 1947. This insignia was abolished in 1963, and engineers badge was introduced". |

Royal Netherlands Army Pioneers Beret Badge, worn from November 1946 to March 1966 then again from October 1993 to 2015, when it became the beret badge for all Combat Engineers.
What method of fitting does it have? Marc (I collect NL badges):) |

Also the piece of cloth lost much of it's colour. It should be brown. |
