Hi Team

I have had this wing for a while and put it in my questionalble box.

Note horizontal feathers however it glows like a xmas tree.

Would this be a reproduction or made for reinactors?

Or could this be a legit modern era wing?If so which years.

Its xmas, Im holiday so I thought I would ask for opinions.

cheers

Phill

Phill, I believe this is a genuine but more modern Australian wing.

See this link.

Luc is right Phill.

This wing was worn from the 50's on.

Thanks Luc/Paul

Good to have it ID as Aussie, my thoughts were British.

Paul as Luc mentioned would this be more modern era ie 1960's-80's era because of it glow, than say 1950's.

cheers

I think you were right first time Phill with it dating from the 60's. See 'ANZAC Elite' no 40 - 41.

Now a nice old wing!

Thanks Paul

Will date it to the 1960's , much appreciated.

Its good to know its an older wing.

Counted your feathers lately:D

Does one assume someone may have had a Rhodie wing in their collection without knowing? :-)

Hi Jon

I would have to pass on that as I have no experiance on collecting commonwealth wings.

It would good to confirm if its a Rhodie wing.

Currently it sits as a Aussie wing, would welcome more input and examples

cheers

Phill
