That should be all the Fusiliers/Flaming Grenade badges individually depicted. Comments very welcome. Cheers, Tom

I think generally you have bought quite well, far better than many who want opinions on here, with some of your badges pre dating the Great War.

More will be coming as I bought over 200 badges. In my next thread there will be the Lancers.

Second try to post the pics of the individual badges.

This is one of my favourite badges but I’m buggered if I can tell a good from bad one, no sweatholes or wires ever used.

That was originally a two piece RIF badge converted by soldering the coronet to the grenade. This was a fairly common modification done by individual soldiers. The slider has been clipped as well, again commonly done on many badges with longer sliders.

I for one would certainly appreciate a layout of these variations!

Just listened to that song, great to have someone with a sense of humour on here for a change 🙂

The Royal Munster Fusiliers is, I believe, a good one as evidenced by a ‘slim’ tiger.

I need to reorganise my badges and get them on the forum albums.

I would pass on the Royal Scots Fusiliers badge, but I can't actually say it is a fake, just looks wrong to me.
Cheers,
Alex
