ILH collection
 

Hi All,

I recently added a couple of extras to my ILH collection, the WWII beret bar, blazer badge and latest badge backing; just need the badge! (I believe a new version with the current flag is on order.)

How long have you spent on building that frame up, Iain?

And what is your favourite badge in the frame?

Frank, I used to collect only British badges but when I first started collecting SA badges, about 10 years ago, it was to the ILH; I'd become interested in the ABW and of course the ILH were born into this conflict and very involved throughout.

Favourite badge: whilst the 3 ABW slouch hat badges are special, my favourite has to be the 1903 Volunteers headdress badge; unfortunately I only have one collar so the set isn't complete.

Well, collars were worn in pairs, so you will need another!:eek:

Frank, single collars do come up but these actually are very scarce.

If I did buy a pair I could easily sell the single. They also aren't facing
