Manchester Pals Cap Badge

I have this Manchester Pals Cap Badge;. I
have been reading up on previous threads about good an bad. This one appears to have traits of both.
There is good detail on the back but a few places seem a bit flat?
Any comments would be much appreciated. Thank you.

I was a bit wary about the lack of detail on the back of the Animals afer reading a previous reply on one by Simon who is a Manchester Regt Buff.
The rest of the detail is pretty sharp.
