Hello Folks
Picked this badge up last year ,in the early morning gloom i thought it was a festival of Britain badge until i got home and looked a little more closely.
Its actually an individually numbered F.A.U badge from the contingent sent to China in 1941.

Does anyone have a copy of the book to hand (its on my 'to get' list) and would it be possible to check if the badge number corresponds to any individual listed in a roll of personnel in the book (if it exists in the book that is )

I have dimiliar badge but standard front with Chinese lettering to rear. I am not aware of a roll corresponding to badges exist ??

Try the Quaker Library in the Euston Road.

They have some FAU records from WW1 and possibly from WW2 as well.

If they turn out not to have the WW2 records, they will know who does:
