Lest We Forget.

Lest we forget! To all those brave souls, we salute you.

My eagle.
I decided to forgo the bayonets, swords, grenades, medals, rifle, lance, pikelhaube and caps around it.
I liked the eagle and got it as an ornament, this makes use of it in a more proper sense.

Decided to add the old Mauser and lance.
I was given the British helmet some years ago by someone who'd picked it up at el Alamein, the German helmet is one that was in Serbian use and came from the Bihac region of Bosnia, the lance I aquired from a shop, the rifle was aquired from a Chinese soldier / rioter by my grandfather during unpleasantness in China during the 1920's.

I'll arrange a more dignified setting next year.
