Misleading eBay description
Hi,
Wasn’t sure which thread to put this in. Anyone know how to best report misleading listings on eBay? I’ve had a look and there doesn’t seem to be any option for misleading descriptions, I’ve sent a message to the seller. They are asking £69 for a right facing broken Royal Tank Regiment collar Badge, another one not broken is on eBay at £12.50, see link https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Royal-Tan...bf4a%7Ciid%3A1 |
Ebay seller Kaysmart
Hi, This particular Ebay seller has been brought to our attention more than once, one to avoid! regards John

eBay couldn’t care less. He can say whatever he likes and charge whatever he likes. Just note his user name, never buy from him and forget about it.

I too would never buy from that seller.

Not exactly a bargain is it, still, never mind.

Ok cheers I’ll give a then a miss. Is there a list of sellers to avoid anywhere I can refer to please?
Such a shame there’s people so keen to take advantage and eBay don’t care Rob |
I too would not buy from him for the reason that he does not know what he's talking about and does not care. Recently he had a standard WW2 US Army officers cap badge with the cloud above the eagle listed as a rare 1st American Squadron Home Guard cap badge. I sent him a note with pictures to show that his listing was incorrect. Never heard back and never saw him change it.

Easy to spot by the garish backcloth! - there's another (neighbouring) seller with the same backcloth.
They do have some good basic badges - but at ridiculous prices. Otherwise they get misidentified or they are obvious fakes. |
