RCAF kc cap badge

Hi, I have just replaced the eyelets on this badge, I'm assuming it belongs to the Royal Canadian Air Force ?? it came to me covered in glue and varnish and minus it's eyelets, can you tell me the era of this one, ie, would it be the same as the R.A.F.

Hi Dave, The badge is a Royal Canadian Air Force cap badge, used from before WW2 until the issue of the queen's crown pattern cap badge circa 1953. Several varieties of die strikes exist, but this is the WW2 style of badge.
