Hi All,

Are there any ideas or a positive ID for this badge, please?

I suspect it is foreign, maybe German?

Length is 3 inches approx from tip to the end of the fastener.

It looks like a Second World War Mention in Despatches Oak Leaf as worn on the ribbon of the 1939-1945 War Medal

Could be the sort of ornamentation seen with framed and glazed German medal groups from the world Wars.

Hi Leigh, I think I have identified it as a ww2 period, German, sports award badge. It would have been attached to a certificate.
