These three items of uniform were hanging on the side of a van, I'm no expert on them but offered what money I was carrying at the time.
Not sure they all came together originally?
Different sizes.
A case of buying for buying sake.
" I Love the Smell of Napthalene in Morning"
Can anyone help with the battledress insignia?
Thanks Tony.

Isn't napthalene the scent of mothballs?

It is indeed, hence the OP's take on the famous Apocalypse now saying.

Maybe off topic, but how can you get the smell of mothballs out of something?

Pinch your nose and breathe through your 'moth'

Love it gentlemen!!!:)

I know that when I get a patch that has a musty or other odor to it, I put it in a container/jar that has kitty litter in it and leave it in the covered container for a few days and the odor will be gone. Guess a larger container and more kitty litter might work on a coat???

One thing for sure, the kitty litter does not leave any hint of being used, and napalm would probably affect the look of the item. And, I'd get tired of holding my nose - so I'll stick with using kitty litter for now.
