I've attached some photos of my dad when he served there as SWO in 1961. They illustrate some examples of uniforms, caps, brassards, etc.

One story I remember him telling me was of a donkey that hung around the bar and liked beer. The guys would buy a bottled beer and give it to the creature who would happily guzzle it. By the end of the evening, it's hard to say who would be in worse shape.:)

Thanks for posting the images. I was not aware the RCAF contingent had the OD & armlets with the Canadian nationality and UN badges. They are frequently seen for the army, but not the RCAF.
