The gentleman doth protest too much. A ‘couple of crooks’ as you put it is exactly how I would describe them and their selling activities.

Oddly enough the last time I read ‘I’m new to this forum but...’ in defence of a fake item being sold it was in fact the dealer selling it posting in support of himself under a pseudonym.

The Gurkha hat mentioned earlier is a complete fantasy item. Not even a serious attempt. anyone bidding on that deserves to lose their money.

If you had given me a chance to answer Simon Butterworth's question, I would have.

Instead, I now find somebody else has answered it for me (missing one very important point) and six other people have dived in and commented, including one who is more or less accusing me of being the dealer.

I told you I was new to this forum, so I have no idea what has been discussed about them before and believe me I have nothing to gain by sticking up for them and was merely going to share the positive things that I do know about them. But it seems a number of you have already made your minds up, and I do not wish to get into an argument, so I will leave this particular thread.

I hope next time I post something it gets a more positive response. Thank you.
