Very nice badge, likely made by Gaunt.

Thanks Luc, I thought it was made in the UK.

Manufactured by Dutch company Parree from Horst 1944 onwards; badges were made from shells recovered from the recently liberated battle fields.

Ah, fantastic Luc, thank you. So likely very just post war vintage then. Type used in Indonesia?

Hi Rob,

A fine example just as Luc sayed of a Brtish made, most likely by Gaunt. Therse badge with two small blades were used for on the service dress. The badge with a slider were used for the headdress. Hopes this will help you.

Thanks forum members for your thoughts on this badge, it certainly is in excellent condition and I was lucky to acquire it locally.
