Canadian or Australian Artillery beret badge

Hello all the Gunners and other "Knowledgeables" out there. Over the last few years I have acquired job lots of Artillery badges from Australia. In an attempt to tidy up the way I've had them mounted in frames, I've removed many of them and I've come across these two nice specimens which I now believe were made for the RCA. They have the the name identically placed behind the gun trail, SCULLY Ltd. They also as you can see the curved "Ubique" scroll as per many of the War time RCA badges. What is strange to me and I'm no expert is that they both have identical threaded posts at the ends of the lower scroll. I've examined them closely and they appear to be exactly identical except as you may see from the scans, one is finished in "Fire Gilt" and the other appears to be "pickled brass". What say you all? Best regards, David J.

I say officers. Full Dress and Service Dress. Nice.

None of my Canadian ones have screw posts. I would go with Australian for wear on the Felt hat, untold otherwise. The dark one is very similar to their qualification badges in that colour.

Screw posts for Canadian officers' cap badges.
Commonly seen on Scully made badges.

Well, At least I'm getting some answers, Did you all notice the original thread "Start" line? They're both beret size so I have doubts as to Officer's cap badges. BTW, just to enlarge on maker's names a little, I have one Aussie Arty badge which has the maker as Stokes and sons and another which has just Stokes on it. This had me wondering if they were from "Stokes Cap and Regalia" in Toronto Canada. Any Gentleman from OZ care to comment on that?..........Regards, David J.
