Here's an interesting unofficial pair of Rising Sun Collar badges with Anzac 'A'.

Has anyone come across badges like this before? Or perhaps a one off made for a soldier?

Thanks mate - it's been busy times for me in recent months.

I think some digger probably went to a jeweler and had these made. I wonder of a hat badge version exists?

I have seen a couple of dozen collar badges like these with letters and numbers, no one knows what they are. Probably made up at random by a jeweller, can't imagine they could be official. Will see if I can find some pix.
