Indian Army Veterinary Corps cap badges

Hi folks

Recently picked up these two cap badges, the first a standard IAVC cap badge but the second one which I thought was a cast RAVC has " Indian Army Veterinary Corps" inscribed on it.
Does this predate the standard pattern badge?
