Almost in mint condition, bright gilt overlay with burnished letters on the motto.
Heavy stipple finish to the oval and annulus. Similar to my post no 20 but short scrolls and different reverse.

Silver presentation plaque for fixing to a bagpipe drone. Inscription reads "Presented to the pipers of the 42nd Royal Highlanders by the passengers of the SS Canada as a token of their appreciation Montreal Aug 26th 1904".
PM Clark accompanied the Pipe band on a two month tour of Canada in August 1904 travelling on the SS Canada. Contempary picture below shows him standing centre left with waxed moustaches.

Silver prize medal bearing hallmarks for Edinburgh 1903 by Hamilton & Inches. Obverse engraved with a 42nd star badge the inscription above reads PIPE MAJOR CLARK. The reverse inscribed ANNUAL HIGHLAND GAMES 42nd ROYAL HIGHLANDERS. 5th Sept 1903 1st PRIZE INTER REGIMEMTAL REEL TEAMS. The medal is encased within a chased and floriated border surmounted with suspension ring regimental ribbon and silver brooch bar.
The Highland Games took place at the Pitlochry Athletic Sports Meeting Sept 1903.

Sgts Bi-metal glengarry badge.
Probably one of the most copied badges of all time, you can see dozens of them on Ebay. The numerals are sweated to the overlay which in turn is sweated to the star with no sweat holes. The letters M&P in the motto are misaligned.
I bought this badge from a knowlegeable and reputable dealer some years ago, he liked it and I am 90% sure its right. This is the only example I've seen that does not have that flash of white metal material that joins the two numerals together. I also note the 42 impression on the reverse this is barely visible on the restrikes. You can make your own minds up.
