25th DRAGOONS Arm Badge

eBay Item Number http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1618030073...318%26_rdc%3D1
Has anyone looked at this badge. Is it ok ? Seems to be a solid cast badge not separate crown and numbers no tags or rivets showing. Back plate seems to be sand cast. Any help on this one .

I would not hesitate to bid. Jon (Postwarden) is a longstanding member here; editor of the MHS magazine 'Formation Sign', and is as honest as the day is long. If he did get anything wrong it would be by accident and not deceit.

As to the badge itself, it fits Peter Seaman's description perfectly- see Fig 67 of 'For Hostilities Only'.

Stephen.

If the winner was on here congratulations as it went for more than I was prepared to pay it.

Cheers,
