Hi Chaps (and Bill),

From my understanding this Northumberland Militia button is Canadian.

Any assistance with correctly dating it would be most appreciated.

Roy, there are two Northumberland units. One was in Ontario, and the other in New Brunswick.

Hi Bill,

Any idea which one this relates too? Or perhaps they just used the same button design?

As it's un-rimmed, my suspicion is that it dates to pre 1855.
