Thank you so much Simon Butterworth - whow - could have been used during the war. And it is not as I thought Fleet Air Arm, but rather Royal Navy. I appreciate it. Will keep it for sure.

hi the Fleet Air arm are part of the Royal Navy although they think they are not at times !

There were of course Fleet Air Arm units in South Africa during WWII especially at Wingfield in the Cape as well as at Durban I believe.
