Fort Garry Horse shoulder titles
 

Another experiment. This image contains a selection of cloth shoulder titles to the Fort Garry Horse. The top title is a CEF example, while the remainder are a variety of patterns issued in WW2. Included are the printed pattern, the size backed pattern and a couple of different embroidered patterns. These are all wartime issue.

Nice selection of cloth.. I'm going to have to work at them to go with the badges... by the way... how are you mounting your cloth items to the paper sheets? masking tape?

Hello Jim, Yes I use the masking tape on card stock. A few items are put in plastic covering, but I make sure that they have lots of breathing so that there are no moisture traps or mini-climates being created.
The collection is checked on a somewhat regular basis, both just to appreciate the accumulation, and to inspect it for problems.

Very impressive collection to the Fort Gary Horse. Bill the images you post never cease to amazed me in regards to quality and selection of examples. Keep them coming.

Its refreshing to hear you use masking tape on the cloth instead of the usual glue I have been finding on cloth badges. As yet I have found no way to clean this glue off of cloth titles without damaging them.

I believe almost all my Irish titles have glue on them. They don't come up very often so I try to scoop what I can at a reasonable price.
