Has anyone got a picture of the reverse of one of these?

There are obverse and reverse images in Chris Marsh's A/A book, p. 385. BTW, it is slidered.

Alan,
this one? Andy |
Sorry Alan, i cant help you. Not the most common CCf badge though.

That's the badge. the construction seems very poor. I have seen a lugged example that is die cast and it is also poorly made. It would seem that the CCF did not buy them from any of the quality badge makers.

Having ended in the 1990's, I have it on good authority that Millfield School CCF is likely to reform soon wearing badges of the Welsh Guards.

It could explain why there are very old Smith & Wright marked badges and some with a blank slider (poss Shaw Munster) . |
The Head in the 1970s stopped the CCF being compulsory but did not close it entirely and it continued despite the Head's dislike of it.
