I just got this Northern Cyclist Battalion cap badge and i remark that it is different to all other i have found here in threads and albums.
The crown is not voided and the spokes are very fuzzy strucked or reworked.
Otherwise the slider and the patina looks good to me.
A fake ?

It looks like it may be a poorly made, genuine example to me. Maybe by the likes of FN Narborough.
